Motors concealed within a slim 100mmm head profile
viiu’s motorised option is cleverly concealed within the 100mm aluminium profile’s head, balancing smooth function with an uncluttered aesthetic. Vents are able to open at just the push of a button to ensure the ultimate convenience for end users.
Capable of holding and moving 750kg of glass
viiu sliding door units can be configured to accommodate up to 1200kg of crystal clear glazing. However, if easy glide movement via an integrated motorised vent is desired, a still generous 750kg acts as the maximum weight. Transitions in and out remain effortless and function appropriately simple.
Open corner design for greater ease of access
viiu’s distinguished open corner design allows spaces to be opened up without any fixed corner element. The corner is kept entirely free and open when the sliding door is moved across, being a particular advantage for specifiers and installers catering for commercial projects that will likely be restaurants and other public buildings.

Does the viiu slim sliding door meet PAS 24 requirements?
Yes, glass door security is important to us. viiu is the only ultra slim door to meet the latest PAS 24: 2016 security standard.
There are many differences between PAS 24: 2016 and the lesser security needed to meet PAS 24: 2012. For example, the 2016 test now means that meeting sections between panels must not allow a gap of more than 50mm whereas the 2012 test allows for a gap of 300mm. viiu has no visible gap during testing, achieving a pass with ease for superb glass door security.
What is the maximum height that the doors can reach?
3000 x 5850mm is the max height and width for panel vents, giving installers a wide array of options when operating slimline aluminium sliding doors on site. With such a generous span, you’ll be able to stretch the boundaries with what’s typically possible with rear entrance door sizes. Simply let the viiu team know your specific project dimensions and we can get to work engineering the system to any height and width up to this maximum.
